Markus Jerling, MD PhD, born in 1955, is Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Kancera AB. Jerling is a specialist in clinical pharmacology and has more than 25 years of experience of international drug development and has held various management positions in both Swedish and US companies. In addition to his experience of drug development in all clinical phases, he has 15 years of experience from academic research and as clinician. Jerling has a Medical Doctor degree and a PhD in clinical pharmacology from the Karolinska Institute. Appointed as CMO in 2023.
