Robert Edfors, born in 1979, is Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President Clinical Development at Kancera. Robert is a specialist in Cardiology and Internal medicine and has more than 15 years of combined experience from the pharmaceutical industry, academic research and as clinician. Robert has previously held positions at e.g. Bayer AG, in a global role as a Clinical Research Physician in the cardio-renal field and at the Karolinska University hospital where he worked as a clinical Cardiologist. Robert has a Medical Degree from the University of Copenhagen and holds a PhD in Cardiology from the Karolinska Institute. Appointed as CSO and SVP in 2024.
